He was born in Mile End hospital (across the road from the church), grew up in Poplar Baptist church (down the road), studied at Queen Mary University (also across the road from the church) and for the last 15 years has been working as a paramedic (mainly at an ambulance station also across the road from the church!). He also served as Assistant Minister here at ELT for a few years a number of years ago. He joined the Eldership Team in July 2024 and became the associate minister in June 2026.
He is married to Rachael and they have three (active!) boys. In his spare time he plays football with his boys, ferries them to their football clubs and experiences the joys and sorrows of following Arsenal!
