At East London Tabernacle (ELT) we believe that the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ brings people into relationship with God and with one another. The moment a person repents and believes in Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour, they receive forgiveness and acceptance by God as His Spirit dwells within them. Effectively, becoming ‘partners’ with Him and other believers in and through the Lord Jesus Christ.
The weekly gathering of gospel partners in a geographical location is what we call ‘church’. This Christian Partnership is the shared vision, for God to be glorified through His work of conforming believers to the likeness of Christ by His Spirit. As more people respond in repentance and faith, partners grow, and God’s Kingdom grows. That is why our vision as a church is partnering to make and mature disciples of Jesus Christ for God’s glory!

In August there will be no evening 5pm service on the 9th, 16th, 23rd. Our normal schedule will resume on the 30th of August - God-willing!

Monthly church prayer meeting (first Thursday of every month) – 8:00 pm
