Lucy was born and bred in Manchester, and read French & European Studies at Keele University, where she met her husband, Chris. She moved to London in 1999, working in central and local government, and lived in all points on the compass before settling in Tower Hamlets. It was during her time as a new mum that she discovered ELT and over the years the family have found their home at the church. After a few years as a full-time mum of three cockney sparrows, in 2018 she set up as a professional face painter. It's the combination of public sector administration and private sector business experience that she now brings together to the maternity cover for the Administrator Manager position. When she's not face painting, Lucy enjoys hanging out with her family and two cats, reading cosy murder mysteries and watching Strictly Come Dancing.
