Youth Projects

The church has developed a basement youth centre and runs several activity sessions for local 11-19 year olds with funding from BBC Children in Need, LBTH Youth Service, EastendHomes and the Jack Petchey Foundation.

Youth Activity Club at ELT (13-19s)

Monday 6.30 - 9pm

We run a range of activities on site during the evening sessions including 5-a-side football, badminton, pool, table tennis, PS4, discussions, board games, non-contact boxing and music. 

During the school holidays we offer trips out and residentials, often with adventure activities such as mountain biking, climbing and camping.

Mile End Youth Club at Joseph Street Community Centre (11-16s)

Tuesday 4.30 - 7.30pm 

We run a range of activities on site during the evening sessions including pool, table tennis, PS3, discussions, board games and cooking.  There are also day trips out in the school holidays and a camp in the summer.

Thursday 1 - 1.40pm
at St Paul's Way Trust School

Friday 12.40 - 1.20pm
at Central Foundation Girls' School

A range of creative arts and crafts during the school lunch hour.

Girls' After-School Club at ELT (12-17s)

Friday 3.15 - 5.30pm 

A range of creative arts, cooking, sports, activities, discussions and drama.

During the school holidays we offer trips out and a residential.  We've been to a low ropes course, Airhop, Hyde Park, Southend and the West End to see "East is East".
