Youth Clubs

The church has a basement youth centre down the external stairs at the front of the church, and we run several clubs for local 11-18 year olds with funding from ELT Members, EastendHomes and the Jack Petchey Foundation.

Youth Club (11-16s)

Monday 5.30 - 7.30pm

In partnership with Mile End Community Project (MCP) we run a range of activities including 5-a-side football, badminton, pool, table tennis, PS5, games, discussions and cooking. 

During the school holidays we offer trips out and residentials, often with adventure activities such as mountain biking, climbing and camping.

Mile End Youth Club (11-16s)

Tuesday 4.30 - 7.30pm  in Joseph Street Community Centre (Autumn Term)

We run a range of activities on site during the evening sessions including table tennis, PS5, discussions, board games and cooking.

There are also day trips out in the school holidays and a residential in the summer. 

Young Women's Project (11-16s, Year 7+)

Girls' After-School Club - Friday 3.30 - 5.30pm

Girls from different schools come together to make friends and enjoy cooking, baking, arts and crafts, games, and occasional external workshops (e.g. pasta making or dance) and community projects.

In the holidays we go on exciting trips (e.g. escape rooms, laser quest, museum treasure hunts, Thorpe Park, Open Air theatre and trampolining).  In the summer we go away on a residential.  This year we did abseiling, archery, climbing wall, high ropes, zip wire, forest adventure and crate stack challenge in East Sussex.
