ELT BAPTIST CHURCH HIRE

We have a range of large meeting spaces, and small meeting rooms. They are all modern, high quality, accessible community spaces, suitable for small or large groups. A kitchen is easily accessed on every floor, as well as toilets, baby changing facilities and disabled access to various parts of the building.

Please note that NO ALOCHOL may be brought into or consumed on the premises.

Auditorium

  

The auditorium is a large seated meeting room which can hold up to 400 people. A PA system, video projection and musical instruments are all set up and installed ready to use. Two stages at the front of the room and a pulpit on the higher stage. 

When the flooring is removed on the higher stage it can be opened up to a large baptistry area.

Back Hall + Kitchen

 

The back hall is a medium sized hall which can seat up to 100 people. In the room there is a PA system, projector with a mounted screen, and a piano all set up and installed ready to use. Parting doors separate the end of the room, which can be opened for some more room. 

A small kitchen is easily accessed to this room. It contains two gas ovens with eight gas hobs, grill, microwave, fridge and freezer, water heater, dishwasher and various equipment to provide for refreshments.

Top Hall + Kitchen

  

A large hall which can seat up to up to 200 people. It can be used for large functions, activities or meetings, or used a sports hall. Markings for a badminton court or volleyball court (A net can be provided on request) small markings for football goals, and a large basketball net attached to the wall.

 Attached to the top hall is an industrial kitchen. Two large electric ovens, six induction hobs, bain marie, large industrial dishwasher, water heater and a fridge-freezer.

Front Hall

A small comfortable room to suit smaller meetings or activities. It will seat 30-40 people at full capacity. Two sofas and two armchairs in one end of the room placed around a small coffee table. A piano and wheelable whiteboard which can be located in this room.

Basement

Youth and Community Space

    

The youth and community centre has a wide range of areas and facilities which can be used for various activities. Two pool tables, two table tennis tables, table football, many well know easily accessed board games, two separate comfortable seating areas.

The kitchen has a large electric oven, six electric hobs, two toasters, a water heater and a microwave. There is a whole cupboard dedicated to baking equipment. The kitchen has a hatch which means easy access from the kitchen through to the basement area to serve refreshments or food.

Creche

A large child friendly area for young children up to the age of 4 with adult supervision. The room can be used for children's birthday parties or young children's activity or meeting sessions. Indoor climbing frame, miniature trampoline, sea-saws, children chairs and tables, a mock up kitchen area and many other pieces of equipment and toys.

The kitchen in the basement is easily accessible if refreshments are required during the activity, meeting or party.

Classrooms

 

Two classrooms located at the front and back of the church building. They will seat 30 people. The front classroom has 2 sofas for a small gathering. The back classroom has a piano, TV with DVD player and a whiteboard attached to the wall. A projector can be provided upon request and there are white empty walls which can be projected onto.

Seminar Rooms

 

Two small rooms at the front and back of the building, can seat 8-10 people comfortably. White boards are attached to the walls in both rooms. A projector can be provided upon request and there are white empty walls which can be projected onto.

Pricing explained:

There is a 20% discount applied if a Christian organization, community group or registered charity hire out any of the halls listed at ELT Baptist Church.

If the activity or group require to hire the halls, outside of normal working hours there will be a £100 caretaker charge.

Kitchens: If your event needs access to a kitchen to cook, a one off charge will be added onto the top of the rate per hour.

A Deposit: A payment of 10% of the final invoice is required on making a booking.

The full fee is payable by cash, cheque or bank transfer, 2 weeks before the event start date.

Extra charges: Additional charges will be made during the winter months for heating the building orrooms. 

Baptistry: A £100 payment is required to cover opening up and filling, heating the water in addition to the rental fee for the Auditorium.

Other Equipment: Refreshment facilities, flip charts, projectors, PA system, operators to control projector/PA system are also available at a reasonable rate.

Cleaning: A £50 charge for the cleaning of the room(s), toilets and communal areas will be added onto the final invoice.

Weddings: A £200 deposit is required for weddings, which will be returned if ELT Baptist Church is left in an acceptable clean and tidy condition with all decorations removed once the hire period has expired and with no damages to any equipment or areas of the building.
